From long Oregon trips, to my guilty trips,
Our hearts were still bound with the tightest of grips.


She gave my life twice; to myself, to our boy.
She saved me from death, when I was destroyed.

I never knew, I was breaking her heart.
With tears in her eyes, I tore her apart.

I ground down her soul, as she nurtured mine,
With evil phrase, lies, and games of the mind.

The one I need most and will love forever,
May have been lost, never again together.

I know what I've done, I have done it so long,
I didn't know what I had, until it was gone.

She is my Queen, the love of my life
I still hope she meant yes, when I asked for a wife.
